Baby (romanized: Ikareta Baby , English: Crazy Baby ) is a song by Japanese dub /rock group Fishmans . It appeared as the second track on their third studio album, Neo Yankees' Holiday . It first appeared as the first track on their single Baby , which was released on June 18, 1993. It most notably appeared during their final concert, December 28, 1998 @Akasaka Blitz as the thirteenth song played.
Before the song was recorded, Sato titled the song in his lyrics notebook as "浮かぶトのト女" or "Floating Woman". The current version of the song's title may have a double meaning, as "いかれた" may mean "crazy" but can also mean "infatuated".

[VERSE 1]
[PRE-CHORUS]
[CHORUS 1]
Baby
Baby
[CHORUS 2]
Baby
Baby
[CODA]
[VERSE 1]
When I was sad, what comes to mind
I'd always remember your face
When I was sad, it made me laugh
I'd always remember, you were the one
[VERSE 2]
People always need a higher power, everyone needs such help
But when I have a sorrowful night
I'm reminded of you
[PRE-CHORUS]
Beyond my window is the starlit sky
Where you cast invisible spells
From someplace that I cannot see
That’s what it felt like
[CHORUS 1]
You are my sweet baby, and I am your crazy man
In the gap of the night, you threw me a kiss
Even on a moonlit night you are my baby, you are my crazy baby
[CHORUS 2]
You are my sweet baby, and I am your crazy man
In the gap of the night, you threw me a kiss
Even in sorrow, you are my baby, you are my crazy baby
[CODA]
When I was sad, what comes to mind
I'd always remember your face
When I was sad, it made me laugh
I'd always remember, you were the one
