パラダイス (romanized: Paradaisu, English: Paradise) is a song by Japanese dub/rock group Fishmans. Written by Shinji Sato, it appeared first on the band's third studio project Neo Yankees' Holiday where it appeared as the eighth song, though it was first performed as early as March 1988, making it one of the latest Fishmans songs to be recorded in-studio at roughly 5 years of age before print.

Japanese English

[VERSE 1]

[BRIDGE 1]

[BRIDGE 2]

[CHORUS]

[VERSE 1]
Two people sitting on a big sofa
With important things to talk about
One stretches their back and stares outside
They notice a terribly large dripping

[VERSE 2]
Show me your amazing dance moves
A shockingly amazing, wonderful dance
One that I can't do anymore
Or discover a new amazing dance

[BRIDGE 1]
Though it's not very fun
As we don't know many good ones

[VERSE 3]]
The cities' air continues to blow
Those two cities are far away from everything
The red bench, the drying sky
"I get it", they said, then disappeared

[BRIDGE 2]
Even the fun things, I happened to forget

[CHORUS]
Paradise, paradise
Crushed by the passage of time
Paradise, paradise
Thinking on that big sofa
Paradise, paradise
Where am I going from here?
Paradise, paradise
What if I can't turn back?
