8月の現状 (romanized: The Current Situation in August) was the eighth nationwide tour performed by Fishmans to promote the release of their second live album, 8月の現状, for which the tour was named after. The tour took place between August and October of 1998, totaling in at a monstrous 17 performances, making it the largest tour Fishmans would ever perform. The tour was later described in detail in the band's fanzine, Pool Volume 20.
