Fishmans Wiki

Kensuke Ojima (born 小嶋謙介; January 28, 1966) is a Japanese musician who served as a founding member of dub/rock group Fishmans. Today, Ojima is known for his bicycling group L.S.D, as well as his independent DJ work.

Ojima met fellow musicians Shinji Sato and Kin-Ichi Motegi at Meiji Gakuin University after joining songwriting collective Song Writes [ソング・ライツ] and founded Fishmans with them in 1987, serving as lead guitarist and occasional vocalist. Ojima even occasionally penned songs for the group, although he mostly took a secondary role to Sato's songwriting. Ojima would leave the group in 1994 after the release of maxi-single Melody, then shortly afterward he would found graphic design company "green.", which would mainly focus on album artwork design. He would also start a bicycling group titled "L.S.D" alongside Kiyoshiro Imawano in 2001. More recently, Ojima has been DJing and performing live infrequently at clubs and bars, and as of 2017, he continues to do this.
