Long Season is a collection of poetry written by Fishmans' vocalist Shinji Sato, published in February 2000 by Kawade Shobo Shinsha, a publishing company. The book is entirely comprised of lyrics to songs which Fishmans performed, including nearly all of the band's material. The book ends on a statement from the band and a short biography on Shinji Sato, as well as a complete list of Fishmans' printed musical works at the time of the book's publication. The book divides the included lyrics into three numbered parts, a total of 171 pages are used.

In addition to the book's original February 2000 run, it was published again with a new cover in March 2006 (to coincide with the release of The Long Season Revue) and again in June 2021 (to coincide with the release of the Fishmans Movie). The June 2021 run included 10 additional poems from Sato, all of which were originally published in various issues of Fishmans' fan magazine Pool, contained in the publication's segment De La Poet, throughout the nineties.
