Masaki Morimoto (born 森本正樹) is an Artists & Repertoire manager working with Fujipacific Music Incorporated. His most notable work was alongside Japanese dub/rock group Fishmans, in which he operated as an A&R manager. He did this for their projects 空中キャンプ, 宇宙 日本 世田谷, ゆらめき in the Air and Walking in the Rhythm, as well as working with the band live on 8月の現状 and 98.12.28 男達の別れ. He was also present on the band reunion EP A Piece of Future, serving the same role.
Notably, besides his work as a band manager, Morimoto also appeared to whistle for the band on their sixth studio album Long Season, a sample which was almost always used for live performances of the song. To this day, many of Fishmans' remaining members keep in close contact with Morimoto, seeing him as an ongoing friend. Today he still works with Fujipacific in a similar capacity that he did with Fishmans, notably running a podcast regarding the recording studio which invited guests. As of 2022, Morimoto operates a Twitter account found here.
