Note: this is the page for the album. For the tour, see Oh! Mountain (tour).

Oh! Mountain (Katakana: オー!マウンテン) is the first live/Studio Live album by dub/rock band Fishmans. It was first released on March 17, 1995, recorded on December 12-21, 1994 before the Oh! Mountain tour began to promote the newly released album. The music on Oh! Mountain is "studio live" or, as the album cover elaborates, "Live Recording / Studio Treatment". This means that while the music recorded here was performed live, many of the effects and mixing (and perhaps even some instrumentation) was performed in-studio instead of live.

Despite being mostly comprised of live recordings, Oh! Mountain is listed on Fishmans' website as their fifth canon album, following Orange numerically. In reference to this album, the following is written on the site:

This is an introspective and experimental album that was heavily processed in the studio, eliminating the cheers from the live recordings of the 1994 tour. It has none of the realism and exuberance of a live performance, and requires the listener to confront the sharpened sound. This is the last album released during the Media Remoras era.

The CD Extra Dictionary has this to say about the album:

Oh! Mountain (title)

1) An exclamation of surprise at seeing a mountain towering over the surroundings. 'Wow, a mountain!"....

2) Fishmans' first live CD. Recorded during a tour at On Air East (Shibuya), Chicken George (Kobe), Muse Hall (Kyoto), Neopolis (Hiroshima), Drum Be-1 (Fukuoka), and La.mama (Shibuya) in December '94, with additional studio remixing, questioning the existence of supposedly easy to make live albums, and making differing mixes between the CD and analog recording and mixes, making this an ambitious work and great achievement for Fishmans, who hate work. Naturally, it was shocking to the Japanese music world. Early works such as 'ひこうき', '頼りない天使', and '土曜日の夜' are performed by the mature Fishmans. A masterpiece lasting more than 70 minutes. However, sales were more like an "acceptable smash hit". The last work Hakase participated in.

3) Fishmans' first live album, a 10-inch 2 disc analog set. For the main contents, refer to 2. However, it includes dub versions of 'Oh Crime', '土曜日の夜', and 'なんてったの' that differ from the CD recordings. By the way, the cliffs towering behind Shinji Sato on the jacket cover are from Lupton, Arizona, USA. Released on March 17, 1995.
