Rock

"Rock" as a term is fairly ambiguous and obvious in definition, so as it applies to Fishmans, their kind of rock music involves guitar-based music typically accompanied by drums, bass and keyboards. Typically, arrangements are relatively simple and only involve a number of instruments in contrast to any ensemble greater than five musicians. Fishmans typically creates a more psychedelic variant of rock music as consequence of their dub roots, meaning much sampling, reverb and effects are woven into their rock music to create a more complex, layered sound. Their often polite demeanor also means this combination of music might also culminate in the form of dream pop.
