Season is a song by Japanese rock group Fishmans, written by Shinji Sato. It does not appear on any studio album by the band, instead being released only as a single in 1996 by the same name, Season. The song is among the group's most popular. Later the same year, the group would release their sixth album Long Season, which functions as a much longer version of Season and an expansion on its musical themes.
[REFRAIN/OUTRO]
Get round in the season
Get round in the season
Get round in the season
[VERSE 1]
The two of us driving at dusk
Calling the wind, and calling you
From one end of Tokyo to the other
We were half way in a dream
[VERSE 2]
Watching the sunset in the rearview mirror
Feeling kinda happy, feeling kinda lonely
Seems I've been messed up by my cold medicine
In that mood, I'm...
[BRIDGE]
Driving, driving, driving, driving
[PRE-CHORUS]
What is that song you're humming?
What's on your mind?
[CHORUS]
I'm too busy to see you
It's getting hotter and hotter
I want to play through this season
By your side
Calling the wind, calling the wind
Calling you beside me
It's almost autumn after running through every season
[REFRAIN]
Get 'round in the season
Get 'round in the season
Get 'round in the season
[VERSE 1]
The two of us driving at dusk
Calling the wind, and calling you
From one end of the city of Tokyo to the other
We were half way in a dream
In a dream
[REFRAIN/OUTRO]
Get 'round in the season
Get 'round in the season
Get 'round in the season
