Yuka Koizumi (born 小泉由香) is a Japanese mastering engineer born and raised in Japan. She began her work in 1989 at a cassette factory, mastering many projects which mostly included indie music and soundtracks. At some point during this time, Koizumi was employed by production company Onkyo House for multiple years in the mid 90s. On November 20, 1997, Koizumi began working as a mastering engineer at Orange Mastering Studio, where she works to this day. Notably, Koizumi is responsible for mastering audio for many of Fishmans' later works, including mostly everything from Orange to 98.12.28 男達の別れ, becoming their most frequent in-house mastering engineer over their later career. Aside from these album mastering credits, Koizumi is most famous for her mastering work on video game soundtracks, most notably for the series Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.
